Swarm
of bees which killed mother to be removed
Friday March 3, 6:41 AM A swarm of bees that stung a mother to death and badly injured her baby will be removed from their hive in Sydney's inner-west today. Maryanne Savor, 38, died after being stung repeatedly in the front yard of her Cavendish Street home at Stanmore yesterday afternoon. Her one-year-old daughter, Natalie, was stung more than 50 times and this morning remained in a serious but stable condition at New Childrens Hospital at Westmead. The Department of Agriculture last night secured the remainder of the bees in their hive in the carport of the family's property. They will return to remove them today.
