Pit bulls kill 19 zoo animalsSaturday 12th January 2002 Two pit bull terriers have rampaged through a small Florida zoo, killing 19 animals. The dogs killed pygmy goats, exotic birds, a donkey, cats, dogs and other animals this week at Fantasy Farms, south of Jacksonville. The dogs, also blamed for killing other domestic animals in recent weeks, were captured. Paul Studivant, animal control supervisor for St. Johns County, said the dog's owners agreed to let the animals be destroyed without a court order. He said: "These dogs didn't do it for food. They did it for sport." Copyright © 2002 Ananova Ltd
